Upon Harbor is more than a space - it is a living testimony to the history of Seixal and the iconic Mundet factory. Its architectural design preserves this memory, integrating cork, iron and glass in a fusion that honours the region's industrial identity.

In the early years of the last century, in 1905, the Mundet family was conquering the world from Seixal, becoming a global leader in cork exports. With a strong presence in the North American market, it took the name of the region beyond borders and consolidated the factory’s importance as one of the world’s main references in the cork industry. Today, this legacy returns to Seixal through Upon Harbor, which gives new life to this industrial memory.
